BESS by P&Q | How an energy storage system is built – installation & integration phase

An energy storage system is one of the most complex infrastructure projects we are delivering today. Following the energization of the 110 kV MV/HV substation, which is part of the power evacuation infrastructure for the energy storage system in Turośń Kościelna, we have entered the next key phase of the project.
This is a stage of intensive installation and integration works – we are finalizing internal cabling of the storage system and preparing the facility for energization and testing. ⚙️⚡
The projects in Turośń Kościelna and Ełk are among the largest hasztag#BESS developments in Poland, each with a capacity of 200 MW and 800 MWh.
As the EPC contractor, we are responsible for the full delivery of both investments – from design and infrastructure, through construction and installation, to full integration with the power system.
These are also the first utility-scale energy storage systems in Poland to be directly connected to the Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne S.A. transmission grid.
In response to the growing market needs and the rapid transformation of the energy sector, we are developing our hasztag#BESS capabilities and strengthening our position as a partner delivering large-scale energy projects.
