We welcomed representatives of Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne S.A. to the energy storage construction site in Turośń Kościelna

🔋At the end of January, together with Greenvolt Power, we welcomed representatives of Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne S.A. to the energy storage construction site in Turośń Kościelna.⚡
The discussions focused on project progress, implemented technological solutions, and the challenges associated with the construction and integration of a large-scale energy storage facility into the national power system. The program included a presentation of the project assumptions and key aspects of project execution, delivered by Daniel Cimochowski – Deputy Chief of Realization, Project Manager, P&Q. The visit also featured a presentation on safety and environmental management by Łukasz Duchnowski HSEQ Manager, P&Q. The event was attended by representatives overseeing construction works, including Bartłomiej Ogrodowczyk – Intertek, and Piotr Sokołowski, Member of the Board, Chief of Sales, P&Q.
Direct exchange of experience between the investor, the transmission system operator, and the general contractor helps establish common execution standards and best practices for large-scale energy storage facilities, which are still shaping their operational model in the Polish market. The Turośń Kościelna project is the first energy storage facility connected to the hasztag#PSE transmission grid, making it a milestone for the development of the hasztag#BESS market in Poland.
