The initial phase of this groundbreaking project commenced in spring 2025, with commissioning set for 2026. Construction is progressing rapidly, and we’re gearing up to begin the installation of the 30 kV medium-voltage cable. Once integrated with the 330 kV transmission network, Tume solar farm is poised to set a new standard for large-scale solar projects in the Baltic region.
With Tume solar farm, the cumulative capacity of projects we’ve executed for Ignitis Group is nearing 400 MW. These renewable energy power plants will be able to cover the electricity demand of nearly 200 000 households in Latvia. This significant milestone underscores the remarkable achievements possible through our long-term collaboration.
