We’ve successfully energized the PV Stelpe
Another step in our international expansion – and another success!
We’re strengthening P&Q’s position as a leader not only on the domestic market but also in international realizations. We’ve successfully energized the PV Stelpe– one of two investments we are delivering in Latvia for our client, Ignitis Group.
📍 Location: Bārbele Parish, Bauska Municipality
⚡ Installed capacity: 73 MW
One of the key challenges at this site was the difficult soil conditions – peaty, unstable ground, which forced the use of non-standard technological solutions. Instead of typical foundations under the stations, screw piles were used, and the length of the legs of the supporting structures varied from 2 to 6 meters, depending on the depth of the bearing layer.
Delivering a project on a new market meant we had to rapidly adapt to local realities – from legal regulations to new organizational procedures and formal requirements for construction companies. This is another project proving that we can operate successfully also on international markets.
